FuturEnergy Ireland celebrates World Day for Safety and Health in the Workplace

Today, to mark World Day for Safety and Health in the Workplace, we came together as a team to reflect on safety, share our experiences, and renew our commitment to a strong and proactive safety culture. We were also joined by a leading industry partner who shared valuable insights into how a strong safety culture underpins performance in construction projects and leads the way to overall success.

This year’s World Day theme — "The Impacts of AI and Digitalisation on Workplace Safety and Health" — reminds us that as technology rapidly evolves, our approach to safety must evolve with it. Embracing innovation while prioritising our people is key to building a safer, smarter future. The current digital theme also expands on last year’s focus on the relationship between climate change and safety, a subject deeply aligned with our mission to accelerate Ireland’s transformation to a low carbon energy economy.
