We were absolutely delighted to win the Wind Energy Ireland Wind in the Community award for Gort Uí Rathaile on Friday night. FuturEnergy Ireland is lead developer on the Gort Uí Rathaile Wind Farm project, with SSE Renewables as our co-development partner.
As a new company in our first full year of operation, this is testament to the fantastic team behind this renewable energy project in Cork and all the hard work put into running a comprehensive community engagement programme that aims to be honest, open and transparent.
Special thanks to Community Liaison Officer Brendan Twomey and Community Engagement Manager Shane Lowry, whose dedication to this project received the recognition it deserves.
