Talking renewable energy with young adults at Down Syndrome Tipperary

At FuturEnergy Ireland we are passionate about all things renewable energy. We got to share our knowledge on this topic with Down Syndrome Tipperary who invited us to speak to a group of young adults participating in one of their programmes in Thurles.

Community Engagement Manager Niall Barrett visited the group and delivered an afternoon workshop, 'Renewable Energy and Me', which focused on energy sources, how we use energy, and the small changes that we can make to live more sustainably.

The group had previously worked on a number of sustainability-related projects, and carried out experiments on solar energy, so there were plenty of questions for Niall.
