The Irish Red Cross shares first-aid tips with the FuturEnergy Ireland

When do you give CPR? What are the signs of stroke? Can anyone use an AED defibrillator? These were some of the questions answered by Ali Magee of the Irish Red Cross who ran a First Aid Lunch & Learn session for FuturEnergy Ireland last week.

The session provided an interactive first-aid refresher to the team, both in the office and online, by sharing simple actions that save lives. An introduction to psychological first aid was particularly interesting, with tips to support those suffering mentally and emotionally during or just following a traumatic incident.

The Irish Red Cross is FuturEnergy Ireland's chosen charity for 2026. This event formed part of the Irish Red Cross 'Million Minutes' Campaign, which supports and celebrates the work of its volunteers and raises vital funds for initiatives across Ireland.
