This role will manage the day-to-day activities and delivery of a suite of FuturVentures projects for FuturEnergy Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Manage and progress projects from concept stage through the approval gate system.
- De-risk projects, deliver within budget parameters and risk tolerance levels.
- Monitor, report on and adaptively manage projects to deliver the greatest benefits.
- Procure and manage technical service providers, consultants and contracts, ensuring high performance and value for money.
- Deliver and capture project benefits to realise portfolio and organisational outcomes.
- Investigate new development opportunities (battery, storage, hybrid, private wire, other).
- Work across multiple disciplines and levels to effectively deliver on role responsibilities.
- Engage proactively and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and secure support and buy-in where needed.

- Third level qualification to HETAC Level 8 in relevant discipline; environment, engineering, planning.
- 5+ years experience managing projects preferably in renewable energy or environmental sector.
- Significant experience in applying project management toolkit to deliver projects successfully.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace innovation and bring ideas to fruition.
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a fast paced and complex team environment.
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of stakeholder management, including experience of managing diverse stakeholders/service providers/contractors/partners.
