Role Objective
The Project Manager will support the delivery of large-scale onshore wind projects from the point of successful planning determination through to financial investment decision and into the build/construction cycle to commercial operations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project team to understand the requirements of delivering a project to a high standard.
- Lead on aspects of project management where required.
- Support the DPM during the development, negotiation and administration of Project Contracts such as TSA, LTSA, CBOP, EBOP, Owner’s Engineer, Asset Management and other related contracts.
- Take an active role during the project due diligence process(es) and engaging with advisors and liaising with the project team and external stakeholders as required for timely responses to due diligence queries.
- Support the Final Invest Decision (FID) and Shareholder approval processes.
- Site visits as required to monitor early enabling works, construction phase, supply chain engagements and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the preparation of information for inclusion in monthly and project reporting.
- Support the preparation of technical reports and participate in the presentation of the results.
- Support the project team in overseeing that the standards for construction activity to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, safety and environmental standards in line with Group and Shareholder standards.
- Support the undertaking of formal procedures including project registers, risk registers, programmes, etc. Ensure these are kept up to date and in sufficient detail to provide project resilience.
- Support the DPM in stakeholder management with key Project Stakeholders such as:
- Shareholders,
- Communities,
- Contractors & Consultants – Owner’s Engineer, Civil BoP, Electrical BoP, OEM, etc.,
- Asset owners,
- Commercial & finance advisors,
- Due diligence advisors,
- Landlord,
- Transmission System Operator,
- Third parties as required.

Desired Technical/Professional Competencies:
- HETAC Level 8 qualification in Engineering, Sustainability, Finance or related discipline.
- 2+ years within the renewable energy, consultancy, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Project management experience in the project execution stages pre-construction/procurement, construction, and commissioning/commencement of operations in projects of commercial and financial scale.
- Good engineering, people management and verbal and excellent written communication and reporting skills.
Irish/EU Driving Licence.
